Hi there

Brilliant to see this forum up and running! I've just launched my website www.earthmother.ie and I can't believe the amount of interest out there in cloth nappies! We sell BumGenius at the moment but will expand the range soon to other brands. We also sell eco-disposables Nature Babycare and Moltex for mums who prefer these or a bit of both. Come and have a look, we're offering 10% off to all Babyclub members until the end of August (just quote Babyclub at the checkout stage).

I look forward to hearing what you have to say and hopefully giving some good advice in the future

Siobhan E

Hi all

I'm a nappy advisor based in Dublin but I'm not representing an Irish company. Am I still allowed to post?

thanks

Great, thanks.

I have put a link to your website on my facebook page.

http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Malahide-Ireland/Malahide-Cloth-Nappies-Real-Nappy-Advisor/119488908077187

I am based in Malahide and cover North Dublin and County. If anyone would like to see a wide variety of brands and types of cloth nappies, as well as having an explanation of what it's all about let me know. I can come to your house, or if you are not in my area you can come to my house or I can meet you somewhere in the middle. A cloth nappy demonstration will allow you to see and feel the nappies, ask questions and then I can recommend some nappies that will suit yours and your baby's needs.

As an agent for babykind.co.uk I can also arrange to order any of the nappies that I show you, however there is absolutely no obligation or pressure to buy from me. You benefit from free postage and continuing personal advice and support should you need it in the future.

I will also give 5% off your first order for babyclub.ie members who book a demo with me. You will also get a free bandana dribble bib!

Good luck to babyclub.ie! I'll be lurking here to give advice where I can.

Angie

Hi Lisa,
It's not too late at all. You can still give it a go. We have lots of info on the website regarding their use. If you have any queries, or need advice and want to talk to someone, don't hesitate to give me a call.

I agree, it's definitely not too late! Particularly if you intend to have more children and you can reuse them (or sell them on afterwards - the used nappy market is pretty good).

Many mums wait until things are more settled at home before converting to cloth and some have babies of over a year before starting.

Give us a shout if you need help. Go for it, you won't look back!

Angie

Hi,
We are an Irish Brand, the only one in fact. Do you live near Bantry? Organico carries our nappies, their website is www.organico.ie
We found that a two part system (we researched all types of nappies) were the best in terms of absorbency, fit, less likely to leak, suitable for heavy wetters (babies that wet a lot - and you don't know you will have one until the baby starts wetting a lot more than it used to, that is where some types of nappies fail they can't take the amount of fluids a heavy wetter releases - ours are designed with heavy wetters in mind).
You can have a look at our website, there are videos and it will give you a visual on how our nappies are used.
If you need further information you can contact us or give Organico a call. The owner actually uses our nappies as well, so you would get information regarding her own experience as a Mother that is using them.
Give me a call if you want to have a chat about cloth nappies in general or if you have any questions in particular.
Kind regards,
Monica.

Fine Irish clothing will look incomplete if they are not supported by the right type of accessories. Patch teed cap or even a handcrafted cap made of 100% natural wool can make your clothes look hip and happening. He caps are rugged and lasts long but they are extremely comfortable. Traditional Irish clothing also uses caps as an important accessory for various occasions.
